A new week begins with plenty in store this week as time ticks closer to this year’s Betway Summer Cup.
Race 3 (13:25) – Ardabil
Ardabil looks to bring some value early in the day with Grant van Niekerk teaming up with Justin Snaith for the son of this Danon Platina. He made late headway in his last over 1400m, now over the extra two furlongs, he should find himself in the mix and can produce an upset.
Race 6 (15:15) – Unsolved Riddle
Richard Fourie will be looking to make it back-to-back wins aboard Unsolved Riddle after a consistent run of form before his latest victory. The son of Futura has a neat draw of barrier gate 3 and should utilize his handy position and cross the finish first.
Race 8 (16:25) – Industrialstrength
One of racing’s power combinations, Craig Zackey and Dean Kannemeyer, team up for Khaya Stables to bring Industrialstrength home for the punters. He went from running in two 1200m trips to running the next two over a mile, both of which he fell short – suggesting the 1400m trip is what he’d be best suited to.
