Race 1 (12:35) – GLAMORZ
The top selection and strong fancy in Race 1 is the Paul Lafferty-trained, GLAMORZ. She should come on nicely from that first run after her break and meets a fairly beatable field.
Race 3 (13:45) – WOODLAND GLADE
Mike De Kock holds a strong hand in this contest with the top two horses on the betting boards. My fancy, however, is WOODLAND GLADE, ridden by Muzi Yeni. She takes on male company but has the experience under her belt and is course and distance proven, finishing second in her only attempt.
Race 6 (15:32) – LUCRATIVE
One of the horses I hold close to my heart after winning me a couple of bucks in the past is LUCRATIVE. The 3-year-old daughter of Vercingetorix has won two of her three starts to date and holds some impressive form lines to her name. I make her very tough to oppose in this field.
Race 7 (16:07) – FRENCH FLAME
Once again, the Craig Zackey-Dean Kannemeyer combination look like the pair worth following. FRENCH FLAME is the top-rated horse in this contest and from a neat draw of barrier gate 1, he should make his presence felt.
