Race 2 (12:55) – Wild Wild Green

Wild Wild Green is a speedy filly from the Justin Snaith yard and is highly rated according to the word going around. She is a full sister to Sheela who won her fair share of graded races in her career and if she’s half as good, there can only be one winner. One to keep an eye out for is Take It As Red, who is the first filly to come from Hawwaam – however, I am yet to hear anything to suggest that she’s a big runner here.

Race 6 (15:20) – Speed Racer

Speed Racer returns from a 11-week break and it may be just what he needed after a poor run last time out. Prior to that, he had some consistent form lines to his name and could get back to winning ways. Both his wins have come at this course, while he has unplaced just once from five course and distance attempts.

Race 7 (15:55) – Heather’s Boy

Heather’s Boy looks to have some class about him and trainer Mike De Kock will be well aware of his talent with his entry in this race being no coincidence. The son of Rafeef is unbeaten to date and takes a massive step up in class. He does, however, have ability about him and can get the job done over the well-fancied One Stripe.
