Race 1 (12:15) – Miss Lia
Miss Lia is the best bet on the card and should open all doubles and trebles taken on the day. She has placed in both her runs to date and meets a fairly beatable field. From the widest draw up the straight, the daughter of Talk Of The Town should find some luck in running.
Race 2 (12:50) – Green Sapphire
Green Sapphire has had two decent starts to date before her break. Now, after a 21-week rest, she should get out the maidens. On breeding alone, she looks to have loads of ability and is the top selection here.
Race 6 (15:15) – Moola Man
The value bet for the day comes in the sixth race with Moola Man looking well worth a strike in this contest. He won quite convincingly in his only course and distance attempt and Gavin Lerena has been in great form of late.
